Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 medium lemon, juiced (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 package (12 ounces) frozen cooked small shrimp, peeled, deveined, thawed, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups (169.5 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • parsley, chopped for garnish
  • crackers or crostini, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch oven-safe skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Fold in shrimp and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
  • Add the mixture to the prepared skillet. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. (When first removed from the oven, the dip may be runny. However, it will thicken up as it cools.)
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Serve with crackers and/or crostini. Enjoy!
