- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 medium lemon, juiced (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1 package (12 ounces) frozen cooked small shrimp, peeled, deveined, thawed, chopped
- 1 ½ cups (169.5 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
- parsley, chopped for garnish
- crackers or crostini, for serving
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch oven-safe skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Fold in shrimp and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
Add the mixture to the prepared skillet. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. (When first removed from the oven, the dip may be runny. However, it will thicken up as it cools.)
Garnish with parsley.
Serve with crackers and/or crostini. Enjoy!
