Pimento Cheese

Pimento Cheese is a rich and creamy dip or sandwich spread made with a mixture of cheeses, mayonnaise, and pimentos. Also known as pimento cheese dip, it is as versatile as it is delicious! Use it to dip in fresh vegetables and crackers, a perfect addition to your vegetable tray! Or, put it between a couple of slices of bread for a tasty sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (116 g) mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup (113 g) white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimentos, drained

Instructions

  • To a large bowl, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Using a hand mixer, beat until thoroughly combined and no lumps remain.
  • Fold in the cheese and pimentos. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
