Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed according to package instructions
  • 6 slices deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F*. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • On a lightly floured work surface, roll the puff pastry dough into a 9×12-inch rectangle.
  • Evenly place the ham slices on the dough, leaving about a ¼-inch border of dough on the long edge. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top of the ham.
  • Brush the empty border of the dough with water. Roll the dough into a tight log, starting on the long edge. Press gently along the edge to seal it.
  • Using a sharp knife, carefully slice into 12 equal pieces. Place onto the lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 28-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
  • Brush melted butter over the baked pinwheels. Garnish with parsley. Serve warm.
