- 4 cups (120 g) Rice Chex cereal
- 4 cups (125 g) Corn Chex, or Wheat Chex cereal
- 2 cups (124 g) Cheez-It crackers
- 2 cups (120 g) rye chips
- 1 cup (45 g) oyster crackers
- 1 cup (40 g) pretzel twists
- ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks / 170 g) unsalted butter, melted
- ⅓ cup Cowboy Butter Seasoning Mix
Preheat the oven to 250°F. Line 1 to 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex (or Wheat Chex), Cheez-It crackers, rye chips, oyster crackers, and pretzel twists.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and Cowboy Butter Seasoning Mix until well combined.
Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the Chex Mix into an even layer on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the mix is lightly toasted.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheets. The mix will continue to crisp up as it cools.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Keep in a cool, dry place to help it stay crunchy.
