Cowboy Croutons

If you love a little crunch with your salad or a buttery bite straight from the pan, these Cowboy Croutons are about to become your new obsession. Golden, crispy, and full of flavor, they’re way better than store-bought. The secret? Cowboy butter!

Ingredients

  • 9 slices French Bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 12 tablespoons cowboy butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.* Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add the cubed French bread to a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted cowboy butter over the top. Toss well with a wooden spoon or your hands until all of the bread cubes are evenly coated.
  • Spread the coated bread cubes onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  • Bake for 18-23 minutes, or until the croutons are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

*Air Fryer Instructions:
  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cubed bread with the melted cowboy butter.
  3.  Arrange the bread cubes in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer. (Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to work in batches.)
  4. Cook for 12 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through at the 6minute mark.
