- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed according to package instructions
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¾ cup (75 g) parmesan cheese, finely grated
- parsley, chopped for garnish
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
Lay puff pastry sheets out onto a cutting board.
To a medium bowl, add the egg, garlic salt, and paprika. Whisk to combine.
Brush the egg mixture evenly over both puff pastry sheets.
Sprinkle the parmesan cheese equally over the sheets.
Using a sharp knife or pizza wheel, cut the puff pastry sheets into 1-inch squares.
Arrange the puff pastry squares on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about ½ inch apart.
Bake for 12-13 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
