Ingredients

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, cored, sliced
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 cup (30 g) fresh spinach, packed
  • 1 medium lemon, peeled
  • ½ cup (15 to 20 grams) fresh parsley, loosely packed
  • 2 tablespoons (25 grams) fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 ½ cups coconut water

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to help push the juice through. (For an extra-smooth shot, use a cheesecloth instead.)
  • Use a funnel to fill small glasses or shot bottles with the juice. Repeat until all juice is poured.
  • Seal the bottles or cover the glasses and place them in the refrigerator to chill before enjoying.
  • Store your Greens Immunity Boosting shots in airtight bottles or jars in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, but they taste best within 3 to 5 days.
