Loaded Tater Tot Nachos {Totchos}

Loaded Tater Tot Nachos are crispy tater tots topped with seasoned beef and onions, Velveeta cheese, shredded cheese, and all of your favorite nacho toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup white onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 16 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Roma tomatoes, diced for garnish
  • 4 green onions, diced for garnish
  • ½ cup sour cream, for garnish
  • 1 medium avocado, peeled and cut into cubes for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, for garnish
  • freshly squeezed lime juice, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange tater tots in a single layer on the lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until crispy and browned.
  • While tots are baking, add ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until beef is no longer pink (8-10 minutes). Add taco seasoning to the beef and onions. Stir and set aside.
  • When tots are done, remove them from the oven and top them with the seasoned salt, cooked ground beef, cubed Velveeta, and shredded cheese.
  • Bake 5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven. Serve topped with tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, avocado, and cilantro.
