Chicken
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Garlic Cream Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 cup (238 g) heavy cream
- ½ cup (50 g) parmesan cheese, grated
- fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- red pepper flakes, optional for garnish
Chicken
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chicken, paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the chicken pieces are evenly coated with the seasonings.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned (about 4-5 minutes). Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate and tent to keep it warm.
Garlic Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 more minute, stirring constantly and scraping up the browned bits in the pan as you go.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for 2-3 more minutes, or until the sauce slightly thickens.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and continue cooking until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add the cooked chicken and pasta back to the skillet. Gently toss everything together to coat the pasta and chicken with the creamy garlic sauce.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and red pepper flakes (optional).
