This homemade steak seasoning is bold, savory, and packed with classic steakhouse flavor in every pinch. Keep a jar on hand and you’ll never need store-bought seasoning again!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons coarse black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl or jar.
  • Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

How to Use

  • Generously season steaks with 1 to 2 tablespoons of the blend per steak. Press the seasoning into the meat so it adheres well.
  • Let steaks rest for 20 to 40 minutes at room temperature before cooking, or refrigerate overnight for deeper flavor.
