Ingredients

  • 4 Hass avocados, halved and pitted
  • ½ medium (1 ounce) lime, juiced
  • ½ medium (1 ounce) orange, juiced
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • ½ green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium jalapeno, diced
  • ¼ cup green onions, diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely diced
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Scoop the avocado flesh into a large bowl or molcajete. Mash with a fork or pestle until mostly smooth but still chunky.
  • Stir in the lime juice, orange juice, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  • Gently fold in the diced tomato, red and green bell peppers, jalapeño, and green onions.
  • Top with cilantro and crumbled bacon. Give it one final gentle stir or leave the toppings layered on top for presentation.
  • Serve immediately or cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
