- 4 Hass avocados, halved and pitted
- ½ medium (1 ounce) lime, juiced
- ½ medium (1 ounce) orange, juiced
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- ½ red bell pepper, diced
- ½ green bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium jalapeno, diced
- ¼ cup green onions, diced
- ¼ cup cilantro, finely diced
- 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Scoop the avocado flesh into a large bowl or molcajete. Mash with a fork or pestle until mostly smooth but still chunky.
Stir in the lime juice, orange juice, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Gently fold in the diced tomato, red and green bell peppers, jalapeño, and green onions.
Top with cilantro and crumbled bacon. Give it one final gentle stir or leave the toppings layered on top for presentation.
Serve immediately or cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
