This isn’t your average guacamole! My Loaded Bacon Guacamole takes creamy avocado and fresh veggies and kicks it up with crispy bacon and all the vegetables. The secret splash of orange juice adds a bright citrus note that perfectly balances the richness. It’s chunky, flavorful, and always the first dip to disappear at parties! I have an Easy Guacamole, should you prefer something more traditional.

Ingredients & Substitutions
- Avocados: Use ripe Hass avocados for the creamiest texture.
- Lime & Orange Juice: Fresh is best. The orange juice is our secret weapon – it brightens the whole dip and plays beautifully with the blue cheese.
- Bacon: Thick-cut, cooked until crispy and crumbled.
- Veggies: Tomato, bell peppers, jalapeño, and green onions bring freshness and crunch.
Mix-in Tip: Gently fold in the bacon at the end so it stays in nice crispy.

Tips for the Best Loaded Guacamole
- For extra heat, leave the seeds in the jalapeño or add a pinch more cayenne.
- Choose ripe but not overripe avocados.
- Drain the tomatoes if they’re especially juicy to avoid a watery dip.
- Taste and adjust seasoning before serving – everyone likes their guac a little different!

FAQs
How do I keep guacamole from turning brown? Press one of the avocado pits into the center of the dip, drizzle with extra lime juice, and cover tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface. It will stay fresh for up to a day in the refrigerator.
Can I make this ahead of time? Yes! Prepare it up to 24 hours in advance and store it covered in the fridge. Give it a quick stir before serving.
What should I serve it with? Tortilla chips are classic, but it’s also fantastic on tacos, chicken tostadas, or alongside grilled meats.

How to Store Loaded Homemade Guacamole
Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For best results, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to minimize air exposure, and add an extra avocado pit and a drizzle of lime juice on top before sealing.
Note: Because of the bacon and avocado, this dip is best enjoyed within the first 24-48 hours. After that, the avocados may start to brown and the texture can change.
Freezer: Not recommended. The texture of the avocado becomes watery and unpleasant after thawing.

I was glad to see onions in the ingredient list – as they did not appear in the video! Guac without onions is like a margarita without tequila! Anxious to give this one a try!!
