Cottage Cheese Taco Dip

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces (623 g) cottage cheese
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • cup taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup (57.5 g) sour cream
  • 1 romaine heart, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup green onions, diced
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeded, diced
  • 1 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ medium lime, squeezed

Instructions

  • To a blender, add cottage cheese, cream cheese, and taco seasoning. Blend until creamy and all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Spread mixture evenly onto a serving platter.
  • Add sour cream. Spread evenly over the top of the mixture.
  • Add each of the chopped vegetables in a layer, starting with lettuce. Follow with tomato, green onions, jalapeno, black olives, and shredded cheese.
  • Drizzle lime juice over the top of the mixture. Serve with chips for dipping.
