Ingredients & Substitutions
- Ground Beef: Use regular ground beef for the best flavor. You can also use ground turkey or chicken if you want a lighter version.
- Hamburger Seasoning: This adds classic cheeseburger flavor. If you don’t have it, make your own!
- Onion Powder: Adds a mild onion flavor without the texture of fresh onions. You can leave it out if you don’t have any.
- Bacon: Cooked and crumbled bacon gives a smoky, salty crunch. You can use turkey bacon if you want a leaner option.
- Cheddar Cheese: Sharp cheddar melts well and adds a rich, tangy flavor. You can use mild cheddar or a mix of cheeses if you prefer.
- Pizza Dough: Refrigerated pizza dough makes this bread easy to roll. You could also use my easy homemade pizza crust or biscuit dough, but the shape and baking time might change a little.
- Butter & Sesame Seeds: Brushing the baked bread with melted butter makes the crust soft and shiny, and the sesame seeds add a little extra flavor and crunch.
