Baked Broccoli Bites are broccoli florets that have been ground down in a food processor and mixed with eggs, cheese, flour, and garlic, all baked together and dipped in a homemade seasoned sour cream. Baked Broccoli Bites
Broccoli and cheese just go together, and this recipe supports that. Broccoli is considered a nutritional powerhouse, so the more you can get the health benefits of this vegetable, the better! (Have you tried my Parmesan Crusted Broccoli, yet?) Broccoli is an excellent source of vitamin C and full of antioxidants. Even your pickiest eaters will enjoy their veggies if served this way.
I love that they are vegetable-based, the kids love that they are crispy and tasty! You can make them as crispy as you would like, it just depends on how long you bake them.

How to Fry Broccoli Bites
For a crispier broccoli bite (and a little more unhealthy), you can fry these like a fritter. To fry them, heat about two tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Use your tablespoon scoop to add the batches of the broccoli batter to the skillet.
Flatten the batter into small patties, making sure to not overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are a nice golden brown. After the bites have been fried to a golden brown on both sides, remove them from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve them when they are nice and hot and crispy!
Storing & Reheating Broccoli Bites
To store broccoli bites, first, let them cool completely. Next, store them in an airtight container. (I use parchment paper to separate layers if needed.) Then, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat the bites in the oven or air fryer. You can reheat them in the microwave, but they may lose some of their crispiness.
Can You Freeze Broccoli Bites?
Yes, you can freeze broccoli bites! Let them cool completely, then place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Transfer the frozen bites to a freezer-safe bag or container, and they’ll keep for up to 2 months. Reheat them straight from frozen in the oven or air fryer for the best texture!

Can these be made using gluten-free flour?
Hi
Could you tell me the nutritional content of these. The only thing it shows it how many calories are in them.
Thanks Cyndy
So delicious and came together quickly. What a fantastic recipe thank you. I did add a little trader Joe’s ranch seasoning as well. Can’t wait to share this with my family!
Can these be frozen?
Love your ideas
I love your recipes! I maybe should have flattened them out more I expected them to be a bit crispy (baked mine). I just baked them a bit longer. Very yummy indeed!
