Creamy Jalapeno Dip is a flavorful and zesty combination that offers a balance of creamy, spicy, and tangy flavors for a versatile and crowd-pleasing appetizer! It will be a hit at any get-together or gathering, and it’s easy to double the recipe if needed. I plan to add it to my Vegetable Tray at my New Year’s Eve party! My Dill Dip is another popular creamy, flavorful dip you may want to try.
Ingredients & Substitutions
Cream Cheese: Room-temperature cream cheese gives the dip a rich and creamy base.
Sour Cream: Sour cream is added to enhance the creaminess and tanginess. For an alternative, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
Jalapeno Peppers: For a little kick to the dip, three jalapeno peppers are seeded and diced before being added to the dip. For even more of a kick, leave the seeds and membranes intact when dicing, or add more jalapeno peppers! For a little less spice, add just one or two peppers.
Cilantro: Fresh cilantro adds a distinctive and fresh flavor to the dip. If you are not of fan of it, you could substitute fresh parsley. However, I recommend trying the dip with cilantro before leaving it out or making substitutions.
Added Flavors: Garlic salt and onion powder are added to the dip for added flavor.
Lime Juice: A little bit of freshly squeezed lime juice adds a citrusy element to brighten the overall taste of the dip.

Can I Make The Dip Without A Food Processor?
Sure, you can make jalapeno dip without a food processor. First, make sure the cream cheese is soft enough to mix by hand. Next, finely chop the jalapeno peppers and cilantro. Then, using a wooden spoon or spatula, mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until well combined. If you prefer a smoother consistency, use a hand mixer to blend the ingredients more.
