Jalapeno Peach Pork Bites are tender pieces of seasoned pork coated in a mouthwatering peach glaze with a little kick of heat from jalapeno peppers. They are a wonderful blend of sweet and savory, making them perfect as a delicious starter or a main dish! Once you try these bites in the peach glaze, you will also want to make my Jalapeno Peach Chicken!
Ingredients & Substitutions
Peach Preserves: The marinade starts with peach preserves, which bring in a natural sweetness that blends into the overall fruity taste of the dish. If you don’t have peach preserves, you can use peach jam or jelly as great alternatives. The peach glaze is the same recipe used in my Jalapeno Peach Hasselback Kielbasa and Coconut Peach Chicken, too!
Peaches: While using fresh peaches is my top choice for this recipe, if you’re in a hurry, you can also use frozen or canned peaches. Just keep in mind that the texture of the peaches might be a bit different in the end result.
Pork: I used 2 pounds of pork (4 boneless pork chops) cut into bite-sized cubes. Then, the pieces are seasoned with salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
Jalapeno Peppers: The jalapeno peppers are responsible for adding a kick of spiciness to this recipe. I kept the seeds in the pepper since they’re connected to the part called the membrane, which is what gives the peppers their kick. If you want a milder taste, you can take out the membrane and seeds. Or, simply leave out the peppers. The pork bites are still delicious and full of flavor from the peach glaze!

- Roasted Vegetables (Asparagus, Green Beans, Brussels Sprouts, or Carrots)

Jalapeno Peach Pork Bites
Ingredients
Peaches
- 2 yellow peaches, pitted, sliced
Peach Glaze
- ½ cup (160 g) peach preserves
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Pork
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 boneless pork chops, (approximately 2 pounds) cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced
- fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Peach Glaze
- To a medium bowl, add the glaze ingredients. Mix until combined. Set aside.
Pork
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the pork pieces, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Toss well to ensure the pork pieces are evenly coated with the seasonings.
- In a large 12 inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned pork pieces. Sear for 3-5 minutes on all sides until the pork is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (about 13-15 minutes).
- Remove the pork from the skillet and transfer to a plate. Tent to keep warm.
- To the same skillet over medium heat, add jalapeno peppers. Cook for 3 minutes. Then, add the peaches with the jalapenos. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, or until the peaches have softened.
- Pour the prepared peach glaze into the skillet with the peaches. Stir to coat the peaches evenly with the glaze, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the pan as you go.
- Return the cooked pork bites to the skillet with the glazed peaches. Spoon the glaze over the pork and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the pork is heated through.
- Garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

What the Test Kitchen had to say about this recipe:
Autumn
Pork is not usually my go-to for my personal family meal planning…but things change! I really loved how the bites were complemented by the peach glaze and the little extra kick from the jalapenos. This will be a new household favorite for me!
Elizabeth
I will have more, please! I love pork, and this recipe is right up there with other pork recipes I love. The peach glaze has worked so well with other meats, too, so it didn't surprise me that it was perfect with pork as well.
Rachael
Absolutely delicious! Again, the peach sauce makes an appearance! I loved this and think it complements the pork chops perfectly and the jalapeños are just the right amount of heat!
Annabelle
SO good! This glaze really works for anything, and the pork is so well highlighted by the glaze. The flavors come together perfectly!
Bella
I believe it is safe to say that this peach glaze pairs well with a variety of meats! Normally, I wouldn't choose pork as my first choice, but I think the peach glaze makes this recipe great!
This is good but needs more of the dry rub seasoning. I left the chops whole instead of doing them in bites. Great option for pork chop night!!
I’ve made this multiple times and it’s always a big hit with my family. I like to serve it with coconut rice.
Loved it!
This looks amazing! Love the jalapeño heat! Could I use apples and apple jelly instead of peaches? I love peaches, husband=no way! We both like apples and pork..
I’ll try it and let you know!
