Spice up a regular package of ramen noodles by adding some seasoning and spice to the cooked noodles. Forget about the flavor packet and make your own flavored noodles. It’s an easy recipe to put together when you need a side dish or a quick and tasty light lunch.
Easy Ramen Recipe Ingredients
Ramen Noodles: Buy any flavor of Ramen noodles since you will be discarding the flavor pack anyway. Cook the noodles according to package instructions.
Red Pepper Flakes: The red pepper flakes give this side dish a spicy kick. If you don’t like spice, leave them out. Or, if you want more heat, add more flakes!
Eggs: The eggs will be scrambled off to the side of the skillet before being mixed with the noodles. This gives this Easy Ramen Recipe somewhat of a fried rice flavor.
Everything Seasoning: I love everything seasoning, and I have used it on my Everything Bagels, Cream Cheese Tortilla Bites, and to add some flavors to this recipe.
How to Make Easy Ramen Recipe
To get started making this side dish, first, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, leaving out the flavor packet. In fact, just throw it away; you will be adding all the flavors to the noodles in this recipe. Next, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and cook for one minute.
Then, add soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar. Stir to combine and add in the cooked noodles. Coat the noodles in the sauce and push them off to the side of the saucepan. Crack the eggs into the empty space and scramble them. Mix the scrambled eggs with the coated noodles. Finally, season with everything seasoning. Serve immediately, as this dish is best served hot.

Ingredients
- 1 package Ramen noodles cooked according to package directions, without seasoning (discard flavor packet)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ teaspoon everything seasoning
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Add soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Push the noodles to the side and add the eggs to the empty space.
- Scramble the eggs and mix them into the noodles.
- Season with everything seasoning. Serve warm

I sure would like to know what everything seasoning is! I have been cooking for many years and have never heard of it.
Its the seasoning that’s on the everything bagels. You can just buy the everything seasoning in the spice aisle.
I tried this it was sooooo good just the right spiciness.
We made it during school in cafe class. Me and all my friends loved it! YUM!
We added some more soy sauce though and it gave it an extra sweetness.
Though I would have added some veggies like peas or carrots.
But over all it was great- I highly recommend it!

Delicious!! I did not use the red pepper flakes or everything seasoning but it was fabulous without it. The brown sugar seemed like a strange addition to the sauce but I used it and I am glad I did….tasted a lot like ramen I get at a restaurant near me. So that’s one of their secret ingredients!! Also added a little dash of sesame oil at the end. Will definitely make this again!!
LOVED this recipe! I used it as the side dish for chicken cutlets and roasted broccoli and my GRANDCHILDREN loved it, as well as the adults – I did leave off the red pepper flakes for the littles, but it was still amazing! Scored a butch of points too, because they did not realize it was just plain old ramen! NOT!

This recipe is A-Mazing! Takes just a couple of minutes to make and tastes SOO good! I slipped the red pepper flakes cause I don’t like spicy, and also skipped the everything seasoning because I didn’t have it. Instead, I added the flavor packet that came with the ramen to the eggs. Came out absolutely delicious! This is probably my fifth time making it. I always find myself coming back to this recipe. Thank you Amanda!
