How to Make Cream Cheese Pork Chops
It is so simple to make cream cheese pork chops, you will probably find yourself using this recipe a lot. The cream cheese mixture would also be delicious on chicken breasts!
- Start by seasoning each of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Next, in a large skillet, heat up the olive oil and cook the chops over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side. Check to see if the pork chops are done by using a meat thermometer. A meat thermometer should read 145°F for pork.
- After the pork has been cooked, remove them from the skillet and tent them with aluminum foil on a plate to keep warm.
- Then, in the same skillet, add the cream cheese, chicken broth, parmesan cheese, vinegar, and lemon juice. Mix and cook the cream cheese mixture until it is blended.
- Finally, add the chops back into the skillet to be covered with the sauce and heated through.
Serve the pork chops with Garlic Roasted Asparagus or Roasted Parmesan Green Beans.

Made the recipe as instructed. Next time I make it, I will greatly reduce if not remove the Balsamic Vinegar, and maybe replace with white wine. The Balsamic Vinegar flavor was a bit overpowering. Otherwise, it made a nice gravy. I think I’ll marinade the pork chops ahead of time as well to help break them down a bit, my chops are always on the tough side.
Fixed these tonight along with buttered rice and button mushrooms. Everyone loved it, especially with the gravy over the rice. It’s a keeper in my house.
Great recipe, worked in a pinch, last minute decision family loved it, only think I altered was adding a table spoon of corn starch to chicken up the sauce a bit. Otherwise, thanks!
Made this for my mother in law while we were away so she just needed to heat. Thanks, she loved it!
