How to Cook Ranch Pork Chops
Pork Chops are relatively simple to cook, but arming yourself with a few basic tips will ensure your success:
Room Temperature
Starting with a room-temperature chop is a great way to ensure that they cook perfectly. You can leave them on the counter for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours) to ensure that the chop is not cold throughout.
Cooking Temperature
It is important to make sure that your pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Using a meat thermometer is a great idea when cooking with pork as you do not want to overcook it. Overcooked pork chops are tough and dry.
Cut Type
Another thing to consider when cooking pork chops is the cut of meat you choose. This recipe uses boneless but can also work well with bone-in chops. A bone-in chop can provide substantial flavor as well as cooking more evenly. When testing the meat temperature just be sure to not touch the thermometer to the bone to ensure an accurate reading.
Rest
Remember to let your chops rest for a few minutes before serving! You want to make sure all of that beautiful moisture and flavor stays inside your perfectly cooked pork chops.

Looked easy but all ingredients cooked at different speeds. Created more work separating them so part could broil while rest kept warm. Parchment paper caught fire.
After reading some of these comments… There just are no words.. unbelievable..
Are you stupid? Rotate the pan Turn it in the opposite direction. Or just rotate the entire stove/ even! 🤣🤯🤗
Ha Ha Ha
Jim, you are an ass…a stupid ass I might add.
I don’t have any fresh or frozen green beans but could I use canned green beans instead? I’d probably need to add them only after turning the chops over half way through cooking to prevent overcooking them, but I’m a shut in and rarely can get out to shop due to mobility issues except maybe once a month.
Otherwise, I have everything else I need and am really keen to try this and have leftovers for later, too.
Thank you for your site, recipes and any help you can provide me.
God Bless.
What do you mean by rotating after 10 minutes? Flip them or move them around the tray?
I have the same question, they are in the oven now so I guess I’ll find out?!
Hi I was, wondering if you could use ranch dressing in place of the hidden valley ranch seasoning packet?
My family loved it! However, the pork chops and potatoes took longer to cook – more like 45 minutes. I used fresh green beans. Just didn’t add them until the last 15 minutes. Will definitely make again. Thank you!
Pork chops were hard to chew and hard to cut after 24 minutes. Needed to be cooked again.
I’m going to try it with fresh green beans tonight. I’ll let you know.
You could easily substitute asparagus for the green beans. It would be delicious.
Has then been tried with Asparagus instead of green beans ?? 😊
I would think that would work fine
If you freeze your fresh green beans i would think you would have frozen green beans…..
Looks delicious! Is it possible to use fresh green beans for this recipe? Would really like to try it, so I’d love to know! 🙂 Thanks!
I guess, if the recipe calls for frozen green beans you take your fresh ones n freeze them, then you would have frozen green beans….
You should blanch them first. Frozen vegetables are usually blanched before freezing.
Put the fresh green beans in boiling water for about 3 to 4 minutes, then drain and add them to the sheet pan. They will taste better for sure.
Why not? You wouldn’t have to freeze them first. That would just be silly!
What could you use instead of ranch
I’ve used this recipe with chicken breast too and used Italian dressing seasoning packets.
They said fresh green beans in the first paragraph.
