These Pulled Pork Sliders are a delicious way to use pulled pork, whether freshly made or from leftovers! Soft Hawaiian rolls are filled with warm pulled pork, topped with flavorful herb butter, baked until golden and crispy, and finished with cool coleslaw for a fresh crunch. If you love these pulled pork sliders, try my Cowboy Sliders next! They’re made with Hawaiian buns filled with seasoned ground beef, jalapenos, bacon, and cheese, then baked with rich cowboy butter for extra flavor.

Ingredients & Substitutions
- Hawaiian Rolls: I use Hawaiian rolls for many of my slider recipes because I love the slight sweetness they add! To make these sliders even more special, try homemade Hawaiian rolls. Brioche slider buns would also be a wonderful choice.
- Pulled Pork: These sliders are a delicious way to use up leftover pulled pork, or to give you an excuse to make pulled pork! I have an oven-roasted pulled pork that would be perfect! Or, if short on time, store-bought pulled pork can work, too.
- Barbecue Sauce: Use your favorite brand of barbecue sauce, or make your own! I have a tasty Kansas City-style BBQ sauce that you might love!
- Herb Butter: The herb butter is made with melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. It’s brushed over the rolls before baking, making them golden, crispy, and full of tasty flavor.
- Coleslaw: To make each bite of the sliders even more delicious, I added coleslaw. I love the crunchy bite it brings! (It is also delicious on its own, too!)
Best Side Dishes To Serve With Pulled Pork Sliders
These pulled pork sliders are a delicious (and messy, in the best way) appetizer or main dish! If you are serving them as the main course, here are some tasty side dishes to round out the meal:
- Coleslaw (I can never get enough of it, especially with pulled pork sandwiches!)
- Sweet Potato Fries
- Grilled Corn on the Cob
- Cowboy Beans (a hearty, flavorful upgrade on classic baked beans)
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Homemade Cornbread or Cornbread Muffins
- The BEST Roasted Potato Salad (Once you taste this, you will never want any other potato salad!)
Can I Make Pulled Pork Sliders Ahead Of Time?
Yes, you can get the pulled pork sliders ready to bake up to a day in advance. Assemble the sliders without the coleslaw and herb butter, then cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. When ready to bake, brush the tops of the sliders with the herb butter and bake as instructed. Then, add coleslaw when ready to serve!
How To Store & Reheat Pulled Pork Sliders
To store leftover pulled pork sliders, first, let them cool to room temperature. Next, wrap each plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Then, put them in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the sliders in the oven or microwave.
Pulled Pork Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 3 cups (747 g) pulled pork, warm
- ½ cup (140 g) barbecue sauce, plus more for drizzling
- ¼ cup (½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 ½ cups (375 g) coleslaw, homemade or store-bought
- poppy seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
- Use a serrated knife to slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating the rolls (keep the top and bottom halves attached). Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce until evenly coated. Spread the pulled pork evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the filling, pressing down slightly.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Let cool for 5 minutes. Then, remove the top halves of the rolls, top the sliders with coleslaw, and place the top halves back on. If desired, sprinkle poppy seeds on top for a little extra crunch before serving.
- Serve warm with extra barbecue sauce for dipping.
